While the map is open, see where colleagues were last seen in the past 12 hours and the route each took today, with a count for each day. Whoever manages the project can look back 30 days.

Projects linked to their catalogue
A new project uses its catalogue live, so a change made in Catalog Studio reaches it straight away. Detach a project when it needs its own copy; from then on it takes changes only when you sync them.

Background colour for tool icons
Give a point tool a colour that fills the inside of its icon, so the symbol stays readable over satellite imagery. It shows on the map, in Catalog Studio and on photo stickers, and in KMZ exports from 2026-09-23.

Mark up feature photos
Open a feature’s photo and draw on it with a pen, arrows, boxes, ellipses, text and the project’s tool icons as stickers, then save over the original or as a new photo.

Exports in your display format
CSV, XLSX and KMZ files now follow your display preferences: date order and style, 12- or 24-hour time, decimal mark, thousands grouping and units. True and false read as Yes and No.

Check for unconnected line ends
A new quality check reports each end of a line that is not connected to anything, for the line tools you choose. Set to Restrict, a crew cannot finish the line until both ends are snapped.

Rules that refuse the edit
Set a quality rule to Restrict and the map refuses the edit instead of reporting the problem afterwards. It applies to unconnected line ends, zero-length lines and polygons whose border crosses itself.

Replay an automation run
Open a past run of an automation rule and replay it on the rule’s canvas, each step marked as ran, skipped or no effect, with the values its conditions read.

Share a single job
Share one job with a crew or a subcontractor: they work in the job’s project but reach map features only inside the job’s area. Move the boundary and their reach moves with it.

Map PDF and map book
Save the map as you see it to a one-page PDF, or produce a map book: an overview, then detail sheets at a fixed scale wherever work has been drawn, with an index when there is more than one sheet. Both are made in the browser.

Automation rules drawn as a flow
Build an automation rule on a canvas from actions, yes/no conditions, switches that try their cases in order, and scopes that group steps, so one rule can decide, act and decide again.

An automation rule can work out the value it writes with functions such as min, max, round, if, coalesce and concat, where before it could only add, subtract, multiply or divide two numbers.

Grouped conditions in automation rules
Bracket an automation rule’s conditions into groups joined by And, Or or None, up to three levels deep, so one rule can say “this, and either of those”.

The map’s quality checks are now rules on the catalogue, set in a Quality tab in Catalog Studio: switch a check off, scope it to one tool, set the near-miss tolerance, or choose whether it reports an error or a warning.

Group a report’s filters in brackets, each group with its own AND or OR, up to three levels deep, so one report can ask for “open or in progress, and in this city”.
